Mortegard is a fantasy kingdom game built for Polygon.
In the game, you own castles and claim land. Develop this land to produce resources. Find allies in courtiers and place them in your castles to help bolster the output of the surrounding land. Use the resources you passively generate to increase the output of your land and create an asset out of your kingdom. Use your surplus to participate in story events that shape the fate of the land of Mortegard and gain rewards for your efforts.

I was mostly drawn in by the scavenger hunt but now I play the game every day, just to check in on my kingdom and upgrade everything. Really cool old-school vibe. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.

This game is addictive. I can't wait for combat to be added. It has a really sound community with excellent scavenger hunts, that if u succeed ,you can get setup for free. For those born in the 80s or 90s it brings great nostalgia.
Awesome job by 4 developers.
Promising kingdom builder game. Had good fun with the community doing events and treasure hunts. Crazy that all this is done by a team of 4.
